The research aims to analyze in depth the experience of health professionals in the pandemic period that continues to this day, to assess the psychological impact of structural and relational changes in different health care contexts. Qualitative research, in particular, fits well to a deep understanding of the phenomenon, which has its roots in the identity of individuals and groups.
In the research contexts, the aim is therefore to understand in particular the psychological, cognitive and emotional experience lined to perceived changes in personal and professional identity that can be found in operators who, in direct contact with patients, have treated the virus or have even been infected themselves with it and have experienced its symptomatic effects, both in the acute phase and in the Long Covid
