The European University for Well-Being (EUniWell) has announced the launch of the new joint professional Master's degree programme named "Well-Being oriented Healthcare" for the 2026/27 academic year. The programme was created with the aim of training experts capable of moving beyond simple disease management, putting individual well-being, patient-centered care, and healthcare system sustainability at the core of daily practice.
Target Audience
The program is aimed at healthcare professionals holding a Bachelor's degree and at least 12 months of documented professional experience in the field. Target profiles include physicians, nurses, psychologists, physiotherapists, healthcare managers, medical educators, and public health or palliative care professionals. The official language of the course is English.
Course Structure and Teaching
- Duration and ECTS: 4 semesters (2 years) for a total of 60 ECTS.
- Flexible Format: Specifically designed for working professionals, the course adopts a blended part-time formula. Most of the lectures take place virtually, allowing participants to continue their careers while studying.
- International Mobility: 4 mandatory short-term mobility periods (lasting 6 days each, one per semester) are planned at partner universities in Cologne (Germany), Budapest (Hungary), Murcia (Spain), and Florence (Italy).
- University Network: The joint degree is developed by five prestigious European universities: University of Cologne, University of Florence, University of Murcia, Semmelweis University of Budapest, and University of Santiago de Compostela.
Costs and Funding
The tuition fee for the entire program is €5,000 (excluding any local administrative fees and travel costs for mobility). The project is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program.
